About Dr Johnson Mwangi
Dr Johnson Mwangi, a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International (ADI) and a fellow of Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA), obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at The University of Nairobi in Kenya.
While fulfilling his commitment to continuing education, he is a Participant in NYU Dentistry’s Linhart Continuing Dental Education Program where he is continually acquiring the tools to go farther and perform even better.
It’s about leadership, making things happen, and putting your stamp on the future of dentistry which is a cause he deeply believes in.
He is also a member of The American Dental Association.
Stemming from his love of children , Dr. Johnson Mwangi is a Director at Imani Montessori School – An ultra-modern pre – school/kindergarten based in Nairobi Kenya, specifically for children 1.8 to 6 years old.
Education & Credentials
Dr Johnson Mwangi, a leading dentist in Kenya graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery ( BDS) from the University of Nairobi in 1991. On completion of one year internship at Kenyatta National Hospital, he joined Kijabe Mission Hospital as the deputy director of dental services where he worked for 3 1/2 years before moving to private practice in 1996.
Dr Johnson Mwangi also holds a Masters in Business Administration MBA (Strategic Management) from the University of Nairobi.
He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Oral Implantology (PGDOI) from the University of Pretoria and the University of New York.
Throughout the course of his education and experience, Dr. Mwangi has attained a great deal of certifications, skill and expertise with implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, preventive dentistry and restorative dentistry.
